This Short-Term Vacation Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made between Grenadier Luxury Suites (the “Host,” “Manager,” or “We/Us”) and the individual named below (the “Guest,” “You”), governing the short-term rental of the property identified below (the “Property”).
By signing this Agreement, submitting a booking deposit, or checking in to the Property, the Guest agrees to be bound by all terms set out herein.
All rates are quoted and payable in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Standard 2-night minimum stay.
The Guest signing this Agreement must be at least 21 years of age and must be a registered guest staying at the Property for the full duration of the reservation.
Valid government-issued photo identification may be required prior to or at check-in, matching the name on the reservation.
Bookings may be made directly through the Host’s website or via a listed third-party platform (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia). Where a reservation originates on a third-party platform, that platform’s applicable booking and payment terms apply in addition to this Agreement.
Some listings require completion of a short guest-verification process after booking. A verification link will be sent to the Guest and must be completed prior to check-in.
A deposit or full payment, as specified at the time of booking, is required to confirm the reservation. The balance, if any, is due prior to check-in unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A cleaning fee applies to every stay and is included in the Total Amount Due above.
The Host reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for any amounts owed under this Agreement, including but not limited to damages, unauthorised guests, unauthorised pets, smoking remediation, or violation of house rules, discovered during or after the stay.
Bookings made through a third-party platform are governed by that platform’s cancellation policy, which may differ from the policy above.
The Host reserves the right to cancel a reservation prior to arrival in the event the Property becomes unavailable, with a full refund of amounts paid as the Guest’s sole remedy.
Early check-in or late check-out is not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance, subject to availability and any applicable fee.
Self check-in instructions (access codes/keys) will be provided prior to arrival. The Guest is responsible for securing the Property and returning any access devices at check-out.
Occupancy is strictly limited to the number of guests stated on the reservation and may not exceed the maximum occupancy posted for the Property.
The Guest is responsible for the conduct of all members of their party and any visitors during the stay.
Parties, events, and unauthorised gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at all Properties. Where noted for a specific Property below, violations carry a fixed fine in addition to immediate eviction without refund.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM daily, in keeping with the City of Calgary noise by-law. Conversations and music must be moved indoors and volume lowered during these hours.
Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside and outside all Properties. A remediation/cleaning fee applies where evidence of smoking is found (see Section 10 for Property-specific amounts).
Pets are not permitted unless expressly agreed with the Host in writing prior to arrival.
Where a Property includes a hot tub, infrared sauna, or jetted tub, posted usage rules apply and are included in the in-stay guidebook. Guests must review these rules before use.
Guests must shower before entering the hot tub or sauna. Glass containers and oils are not permitted in wellness areas.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the hot tub or sauna.
Use of hot tubs, saunas, and jetted tubs is entirely at the Guest’s own risk. The Host strongly recommends Guests with cardiovascular conditions, who are pregnant, or with related health concerns consult a physician before use.
The Guest is financially responsible for any damage, breakage, excessive mess requiring additional cleaning, or lost items caused during the stay, beyond normal wear and tear.
Where a security deposit or refundable damage hold is required for a reservation, its amount and collection method will be specified at the time of booking.
The Host may charge the Guest’s payment method on file for the reasonable cost of repair, replacement, or additional cleaning, and will provide the Guest with an itemised explanation on request.
Except where caused by the Host’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct, the Host is not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses, or thefts occurring during a stay, or for temporary unavailability, inaccuracies, or technical issues affecting the website or booking systems.
Guests are advised to obtain appropriate travel and/or medical insurance prior to their stay.
Neither party is liable for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, or government action (force majeure).
This Agreement does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
